SEASON II · CHAPTER 12
ARCHIVED TRANSCRIPT
The horizon is turning a silver gray.
The longest night is finally fading away.
No more running and no more tears.
Just the quiet end of a thousand years.
The air is fresh and the stars are all gone.
I'm standing on the edge of a brand new dawn.
There's a light before the morning soft and clear.
Washing away every lingering fear.
I'm not fully whole but the frequency's changed.
The pieces of my soul have been rearranged.
There's a light before the morning a quiet grace.
I can finally face this open space.
I take a deep breath and I close my eyes.
Watching the sun start its slow gold rise.
The city is waking and so am I.
Under a vast and an open sky.
It's not perfect but it's real.
And that's the only thing I need to feel.
A peace that the night could never destroy.
The sun is up and I'm still here.
The sun is up...
And I'm still here.
